A dedicated and passionate string educator for over 20 years Sarah's skills and experience include private teaching, ensemble tutoring & conducting, arranging, composing and examining. She currently teaches at Wilderness School, Adelaide and is a String Examiner with the AMEB.
Her compositions and arrangements embrace historical and stylistic awareness. Delivered with a fun and appealing lay out her pieces spark imagination for students and teachers alike with added quirky insights and suggested rehearsal notes included. Her writing re affirms and focuses on basic string foundations with the introduction of orchestral and chamber music techniques and disciplines.
Her aim is to arrange and compose music to engage, educate and above all inspire string students of all ages and and levels.

A series of Renaissance Dance Tunes arranged for String Orchestra, super fun to play with toe tapping melodies, rhythmic harmonies and atmospheric dynamics. Each Tune focuses on specific finger placement, tonality, dynamic range, bowing patterns and are suitable to be performed and enjoyed by string players of all ages and standards from Grade 1 upwards.
