Taking hints of jazz and folk King explores the realms of Chamber Pop featuring dreamy strings and melodic horns producing tangible lounge music with themes of home, love and loss.
As a multi-instrumentalist Sarah highlights her love for the ‘string quartet’ medium weaving samples of her recordings and arrangements around her delicate vocals with glimpses of Kate Bush tones as she draws on her British heritage to create a warm vintage sound.
I'd like to invite you and yours to come and help me celebrate the launch of my EP at the iconic Wheatsheaf Hotel. I'm lucky to have met so many of you friendly Adelaideans.
This musical project came about as I was settling into life in my new home state. I started exploring themes of home and how it has a unique meaning to us all, so does love, so does loss. I wanted to write music for music sake, to connect with other local musicians and challenge myself musically to do something I've never done before. This gig is a celebration of those things.
I'll be joined and supported by local kick arse muso's boasting a diverse range of musical genres, fusing talents to create a unique musical experience.
